'Miyar House' is scheduled to be screend at the Tata Theater in Mumbai at 2.30 PM on the 6th of February as a part of the Mumbai International Documentary Film Festival (MIFF).

- I am an independent filmmaker trained from the Film & TV Institute of India Poona and based in Mumbai. I make short films, documentaries, feature films and TV programs. My Tulu language digital feature film SUDDHA (The Cleansing Rites) was the Best Film in the Indian Competition Section at the Osian's Cinefan Festival of Asian Films held in New Delhi in 2006. Thanks to some basic exhibition funding from Hubart Bals, The Netherlands, I have shown the film in around more than 100 villages in Coastal Karnataka. My second feature film 'Putaani Party', in Kannada language too is making its Film Festival rounds, the world over. It has won the Best Children's Film at the 57th National Film Awards instituted by the Indian Government for the year 2009.
